Enduring, easygoing feline friend. Welcome to the world of Ragdoll cats.

Ragdolls enjoy nothing more than to curl up beside you or follow you around the house carrying on a conversation in their gentle voices.

Another reason cat owners love the Ragdoll is that they are easily cared for. Although their long, flowing fur is rabbit like in texture, Ragdolls have no undercoat, which means less shedding. A bath or a good brushing is all they need to look their best.

Ragdolls are on the larger scale of the feline.  Males weighing 15 to 20 lbs.  Females subsequently smaller. Two years for their colouring to develop and four years to reach full size.

History: despite many myths surrounding the Ragdoll breed.  They did not come from breeding a Birman, Burmese and a Persian. They actually came from feral cats. The originator Ann Baker of California. In 1963 Ann bred a feral, semi long white female, named Josephine to longhaired Seal Mitted Male with a blaze and a white tip on the tail, his name was Daddy Warbucks.  Thus started the Ragdoll breed.
